7EmiratesRun/AJF Running Events: 17.11. – 23.11.2018

A: 7ER Full Distance Ultra Run: 7Emirates – 7 Days – 497 km

FD UR – Full Distance Ultra Marathon Runner

Registration: AED 2,100.00 including accomodation, meals and hydration support

Fundraising committment: AED 1,877.00

Distance: 497 km over 7 consecutive days an average of 71km per day

Participants can register to run the full distance of 497 km in 7 days, the 7 days each runner can run at his/her own pace and on the 7th day the 7ER FD runners will finish together the last 2km as celebration of the 47th UAE National Day with finishing at JA Hatta Fort Hotel in Hatta.

The overnight stay will be in a Hotel or tent and full course runners are not permitted to use any transportation during the 7 days. 

The 7EmiratesRun is not a typical competition nor a typical race. We run for the pure joy of running, to promote a healthy lifestyle and to raise awareness for children who we want to support by raising funds. Nevertheless we have given ourselves some very basic ground-rules for the Run. 

The runners have to be in Abu Dhabi on 16.11.2018 for briefing, etc. and stay there for the start of the run on day 1 the 17.11.2018.

For the entire duration of the Run, (17.11.2018 – 23.11.2018), participants will not use any other mode of transportation than their own two feet. Even for day to day chores we opt not to use a car, bicycle, public transport, etc. Emergencies or situation of threat will obviously be an exception. 

Finisher time limit on each day will be 12 hours. We will not have rest days; we will be running the route on consecutive days.

FD RT – Full Distance Relay Team 3-7 runners each day

Registration: 1,890 AED per person of the relay team and 2,877 AED Fundraising Commitment per team

including accommodation, meals and hydration support

Distance: 497 km in relay team of 3-7 runners over the course of 7 days (daily distance will be devided by the number of participants per team)

Relay teams of 3-7 participants can register to run the 497 km course in relay over 7 days, all members of the relay team will run each day. The runners have to be in Abu Dhabi on 16.11.2018 for briefing, etc. and stay there for the start of the run on day 1 the 17.11.2018.

Participants can stay overnight at the finish location every day. The teams have to organize their own transportation to the start locations and during the daily runs. They are also allowed to drive home for the overnight stay. The next day they have to be on time, 5:30am, to start for the daily distance.

The overnight stays will be in a camp and sleeping in tents for 2-4 people. The runners who will drive home have to come to the camp latest at 5:30am on the next running day. The runners have to handover a relay baton to the next runner during the daily run and this will be the same procedure every day.

On the last evening, the 23.11.2018, all the runners will celebrate the finish of the 7ER/AJF Event with a final event in JA Hatta Fort Hotel   in  Hatta Dubai. This final celebration of the 7ER/AJF Event will be also a get together for the celebration of the Year of Zayed and 47th UAE National Day.

B: 7ER Ultra Marathon Series - Daily - Full Distance average of 71 km The UAE 7-1- 71km Challenge

Ultra Marathon Runner on selected day

Registration: AED 297 including hydration support and meals.

Fundraising: AED 87, Optional, but fundraising encouraged.

Distance: 71 km

Ultra Marathon RT – Relay Team 3-7 runners on selected day

Registration: AED 197 per person including hydration support. Own provision of accommodation, support car and meals

Fundraising: AED 87 per team member. Optional, but fundraising encouraged.

Distance: 71 km

Daily Distance will be devided by the number of participants per team 

Relay teams of 3-7 participants can register to run the 71 km distance in relay on a selected day, all members of the relay team will run on this day. The runners who start in Abu Dhabi, have to be there on 17.11.2018 for briefing, etc. latest at 5:30 am.

The teams have to organize their own transportation to the start locations and back home. They are also allowed to drive home for the overnight stay. The next day the runner of the day has to be on time, 5:30am, to start for the daily distance.
